Add Support for Eclipse's BIRT

Fix Version/s: 3.2 RC1

 Description  « Hide

Add support for Eclipse's reporting library, BIRT. It would also be really nice if Spring could somehow integrate into the scripted datasource feature of BIRT so as to allow POJOs as the datasource (as is the case with ORMs as well as Spring's JDBC support with POJOs)

Juergen,

If there is anything I can do to help with this integration, please let me know.

Maybe this implementation could be contributed to spring: http://www.jroller.com/masini/entry/using_birt_as_view_in

Of course, one of the biggest issues would be the ability to use a spring bean as a datasource for BIRT (that is, AFAIK truly really deeply extreamly cumbersome right now) http://birtworld.blogspot.com/2007/01/birt-connection-pooling-continued.html
